Nicki Minaj is already cashing in on the success of ‘Whole Lotta Money (Remix)’ – the latest single from rising rapstress BIA.
Its original incarnation found aboard the latter’s 2020-released ‘For Certain’ EP, the track had already been collecting buzz on its own before the Rap Queen gave it her royal blessing via a revamp.
In the week that followed the remix’s July 9 release, ‘Whole Lotta Money’ racked up a whole lotta streams and digital downloads – enough to land it in the top 20 of the refreshed Hot 100. This may come as a first for BIA, but it’s a historic measure for Nicki.

Premiering at #16 on this week’s Hot 100, ‘Whole’ comes as Minaj’s record-extending 119th Hot 100 hit – the second most among women (only Taylor Swift has more with 137).
Here are the numbers that powered the bop to its impressive debut.
- Digital Downloads ≈12,000 sold
- Streaming ≈14.6 million U.S. streams
- Radio Airplay ≈ 8.4 million audience impressions
More notably, ‘Whole’ is Nicki’s 40th top 20 hit. Advancing her to #7 on the all-time list of ‘most top 20 hits’ among all artists, only Drake (69), Lil Wayne (51), Taylor Swift (51), Elvis Presley (48), Madonna (44), The Beatles (42), and Rihanna (42) have more. With 40 top 20 hits each, Nicki is tied in 7th place with legendary singer-songwriter Elton John.
